About Us
We’re a Tennessee‑raised, Texas‑rooted family of five who stumbled into chicken keeping the same way many folks do — by accident, curiosity, and a classroom hatching project that sent sixteen fluffy chicks home with us. My wife is a school teacher, I’m an Army veteran, and together we’ve built a life on a small piece of Texas acreage where the outdoors, fresh eggs, and a whole lot of laughter shape our days.

We’re not full‑time homesteaders or experts with endless acres. We’re just a family that enjoys raising a small flock, gathering our own eggs, and sharing the extras with coworkers, friends, and anyone who shows up at the right time. Over the years, we’ve learned what works (and what definitely doesn’t) when it comes to brooding chicks, keeping them safe, and finding gear that holds up to real life — kids, weather, and all.
This little shop grew out of that experience. We wanted a place where everyday chicken owners — the weekend flocktenders, the backyard egg collectors, the “I swear I’m only getting two chicks this year” crowd — could find reliable products and honest guidance without feeling overwhelmed. Our logo blends Tennessee’s Tri‑Star with the Texas Lone Star because both places shaped who we are, and this business is simply an extension of our family, our roots, and our love for the simple joys of raising chickens.

If you’re building or growing your own flock, we’re glad you’re here. Let’s keep it fun, practical, and full of fresh eggs.
